Leah Mantini

Originally from Spartanburg, SC, Leah Burchfield Mantini graduated from Sewanee, The University of the South, majoring in Studio Arts. She furthered her education in fine arts at the Art League School in Alexandria, VA. During her time in Washington, DC, she studied under and apprenticed for two artists. One being renowned artist, Robert Liberace, who received the honor from The Artist’s Magazine as being one of the top twenty realist artists under forty. Leah has since lived in Georgia and South Carolina with her husband, working as a professional portrait artist and sharing her passion for drawing and painting by teaching locally. In February 2014, the Mantinis welcomed their daughter, Lilla, assuredly the subject of many a portrait to come. Charleston, SC is home and a constant source of inspiration with its beauty and culture.
