Leah Mantini

 

A South Carolina native, portrait artist, Leah Burchfield Mantini graduated from Sewanee, The University of the South. She furthered her education in fine arts at the Art League School in Alexandria, VA. During her time in Washington, DC, she studied under and apprenticed for two artists. One being renowned artist, Robert Liberace, who received the honor from The Artist’s Magazine as being one of the top twenty realist artists under forty. Leah has since lived in Georgia and South Carolina with her husband and two daughters, working as a professional portrait artist and sharing her passion for drawing and painting by mentoring other artists. Charleston, SC is home and a constant source of inspiration for her art with its beauty and culture. Her love of people and desire to create meaningful fine portraiture has led to numerous commissions on display in private and corporate collections. Leah has enjoyed fellowship and artistic enrichment as a member of the Portrait Society of Atlanta and Portrait Society of America for over a decade.
